Color is a great energizer.” Aimee Beatty, in-house stylist at Pier 1, suggested “incorporating pops of color” with furniture and accessories. “One new piece,” like a colorful bench, she said, “is a simple, budget-friendly way to make a big impact.” A bright market umbrella or colorful planter can also perk up a patio or balcony. — ap J.
