Fab Four to take center stage at JCCSF gala Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | May 9, 2014 The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco is getting ready to host its annual fundraiser on Thursday, May 15. “Showcase 2014” consists of a night of shmoozing and entertainment that will be headlined by “Come Together,” a music and multimedia show that is billed as “the ultimate Beatles experience.” Funds raised will allow the JCCSF to continue offering cultural programming and making social and educational services accessible to the community. The event will begin with food, wine and cocktails at 6 p.m. in the Pottruck Family Atrium and Fisher Hall at the JCCSF, 3200 California St., S.F. The Los Angeles–based band Fab Four will perform in Kanbar Hall at 7:30 p.m., wearing Beatles garb and doing renditions of Beatles’ favorites. Last year’s fundraiser, Showcase 2013, received a Kol Ha Kavod Award from the JCC Association of North America in the philanthropic leadership category, and raised more than $500,000. This year’s event is co-chaired by Matthew Goldman, Jason Goldman, Susan Lowenberg and Joyce Newstat. Tickets are $350 per person, with sponsorships available.
