A group sponsored by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee is holding an event next week in San Francisco, “Una Noche: Celebrating the Jewish Communities of Argentina, Cuba and More.” Entwine is a 3-year-old group for young Jews looking to make an impact on global Jewish needs and international issues. Chapters in various stages of development are in eight major U.S. metropolitan areas. “Una Noche” will include a conversation with local leaders in Argentina, a margarita-making class and Latin American food and drinks. There also will be information about Entwine’s Jewish trip to Argentina in October. The event is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Tres Tequila Lounge and Mexican Kitchen, 130 Townsend St., S.F. Tickets are $10 online, $20 at the door. For information, visit www.jdcentwine.org/events or email event co-chair Lauren Zabel at [email protected]. J. Correspondent Also On J.
