More than 50 leaders from innovative Israeli and California companies will speak at the California Israel International Business Summit on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Microsoft campus in Mountain View.
The summit will include panel discussions on topics related to big data, cloud technology, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT, or interconnectivity), mobile, online payments and new media. A number of more casual “fireside chats” also will be held with experts in those fields.
Beyond the confirmed lineup of speakers and 25 presenting companies, expected attendees include executives of corporations, venture capitalists and representatives of startups in Israel and California. The event is billed as a hub for exploring new business opportunities and initiating cooperation.
The summit is being organized by the California Israel Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Israeli Economic Mission to the West Coast and the S.F.-based Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest.
The summit starts with breakfast and registration at 7:30 a.m. Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an evening cocktail reception to follow. Keynote speaker is Rob Chandhok, president of Qualcomm Interactive Platforms.
Tickets start at $399, with a $100 discount for CICC members. For information, visit http://new.ci-cc.org or send an email to [email protected].
