Three groups that staunchly support Israel are sponsoring two upcoming screenings of a new documentary film about the Jewish state.

“Body and Soul: The State of the Jewish Nation” will screen at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 at BlueLight Cinemas in the Oaks Shopping Center, 21275 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino.

Filmmaker Gloria Greenfield is scheduled to discuss her 64-minute documentary, which was released Oct. 20. Greenfield also produced “The Case for Israel: Democracy’s Outpost” in 2008 and produced and directed “Unmasked Judeophobia” in 2011.

The screenings are being presented by the Zionist Organization of America, S.F. Voice for Israel and Rimon Club, a Bay Area–based group that promotes greater understanding of Israel. According to the ZOA, the film “succeeds in debunking the propaganda, myths and misinformation [about Israel] that have become accepted as truth by so many.”

Tickets may be purchased at www.bluelightcinemas.com or by calling (408) 255-2552. For information on the film, visit www.bodyandsoulthemovie.com.
