With help from teacher Debbie Togliatti, children at the Oshman Family JCC harvest the first crop of vegetables from the school’s Giving Garden. Six gardens at the preschool are dedicated to feeding the hungry, which teaches the children lessons about doing mitzvahs and helping others. The kale, chard, lettuce and onions harvested last week were donated to local food banks for families in need.
