Correspondent | January 30, 2015 Jewish Vocational Service is seeking applicants for the 30th class of the Kohn Summer Intern Program. The eight-week internship provides college undergraduates from the Bay Area an opportunity to work for local Jewish nonprofits and build workplace skills while exploring issues facing the Jewish community. More than 500 students have participated in this program over the past three decades. Participating agencies in past years have included Berkeley Hillel, G-dcast, Hazon and J. Kohn alumni have gone on to work for Jewish organizations in the Bay Area and beyond. Kohn interns are compensated $2,500 for their work over the summer. The 2015 program runs from June 19 to Aug. 14. The deadline for undergraduate applications is March 2. The deadline for applications from hosting agencies is Feb. 23. Download at www.jvs.org/kohn. J.
