UpStart, the Bay Area nonprofit that provides early stage support for innovative Jewish organizations, is accepting applications for a new cohort.
Individuals and organizations with ideas about how to create innovative experiences with lasting impact in the Jewish community are being encouraged to apply by the 6-year-old agency.
Upstart provides personalized consulting to emerging organizations, helping them develop their business plans and test the sustainability of their concepts.
Previous UpStarters have included Jewish new media company G-dcast, urban farm and education center Urban Adamah and the Jewish podcast “Come and Listen.” The current accelerator group, which for the first time includes entities from outside the Bay Area, has eight members.
Successful applicants stay in the accelerator program for up to three years. Applications, due March 15, may be found at www.upstartbayarea.org.
