Starting on a high note. The 30th JCC East Bay Music Festival opens on March 5 with the Grammy-winning Jewish roots band the Klezmatics, kicking off more than two weeks of high-octane music. Acts include the women’s vocal ensemble Kitka, the Israeli ensemble Diwan Saz, the Paul Hanson Ensemble, and Cantor Jack Mendelson with Klezmatics trumpeter Frank London.
