Allison Pascal and Mark Javitch

Announcing the engagement of Allison Lauren Pascal to Mark Louis Javitch. Allison is the daughter of Dr. Charles and Beth Pascal of Hillsborough, sister of Gregory and Larry Pascal and granddaughter of Sandy Schlesinger, the late Al Schlesinger of Hillsborough and Victoria and Aaron Pascal of Woodland Hills.

Allison graduated from U.C. Davis in 2004 with degrees in sociology and psychology and a minor in women and gender studies. She attended law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego. She is currently living in San Francisco and working as an attorney.

Mark is the son of Gary and Karen Javitch of Omaha, Nebraska, and is the brother of Jennifer and Rachel Javitch. He is also the grandson of the late Phil and Ruth Sokolof and Robert and Mildred Javitch.

He graduated in 2003 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in finance with a minor in math and currently owns a web design firm. He will be attending U.C. Hastings beginning this fall.

Allison and Mark met at a Purim party in March 2013, sponsored by Congregation Emanu-El in the city. Mark says he saw Allison from across the room and had to make his way over so he could meet her, and the rest is history!

They are planning on a March 2016 wedding.
