Barney Frank, the former congressman from Massachusetts known for his progressive politics, his fight against inequality and his willingness to speak truth to power, will discuss how a gay Jew from New York ended up becoming one of the most original voices in Congress. Frank will be in San Francisco on tour for his new book, “Frank: A Life in Politics from the Great Society to Same-Sex Marriage.”
