Celebrating Yehuda Amichai. “The Poetry of Yehuda Amichai,” the new collection by the late Israeli playwright, novelist and modern poet, will be celebrated with readings, discussion and a dance performance by the poet’s daughter, Emanuella Amichai. On hand will be the book’s editor, U.C. Berkeley emeritus professor Robert Alter, two of Amichai’s translators, Chana Bloch and Chana Kronfeld, and the poet’s wife, Hana Amichai.
