A letter to the editor last week asked where to find hamantaschen around Northern California. Ask and you shall receive! This is by no means an exhaustive list, but hopefully it helps you get your hands on some delicious Purim pastries.

Ella’s Bakery — This bakery is an operation of Chabad of Mid Peninsula offers kosher/pareve hamantaschen in triple chocolate with brownie filling, raspberry filled dipped in chocolate with sprinkles and plain raspberry hamantaschen flavors for delivery. $12 for a box of 8. LeVant Dessert — Maamoul means “filled” in Arabic, and these cookies are popular Purim treats for Jews of Syrian, Lebanese and Egyptian descent. LeVant Dessert has maamoul cookies with date, pistachio or walnut fillings available for preorder. $4.36 each. 842 Santa Cuz Ave., Menlo Park.

Loquat — Tins filled with a dozen hamantaschen in apricot, poppyseed-walnut and chocolate-hazelnut flavors are available for pick up. Preorder by March 20 for pick up March 22-25. $38 per tin. 198 Gough St., San Francisco.

Moscow and Tbilisi Bakery — Apricot and poppyseed “triangle pastries” are available for pick up or delivery. $3.81 each. 5540 Geary Blvd., San Francisco.
