Welcome to Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, a vibrant and innovative community of learners from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade.
With small class sizes and ample opportunities for differentiated learning, children at Wornick are challenged and encouraged as individuals to become the best version of themselves — academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. As one of our most beloved teachers is fond of saying, “It’s not if you’re smart, it’s how you’re smart.”
Through joyful and dynamic project-based learning, students at every grade level are empowered with critical thinking skills that take them beyond the quest for answers to a deeper search for understanding and connections across disciplines. Wornick students learn to take risks, articulate their understandings clearly, share them confidently with others, and advocate for themselves and their ideas with conviction and respect.
Hebrew language and Judaic studies are a core part of our program at every grade level. A Wornick education provides students with the intellectual tools to live active, engaged Jewish lives, and the ethical foundation that will encourage them to make a difference in the world they inherit.
Rooted in Jewish values, Wornick is a welcoming and supportive community for its children and their families. We are open to all applicants.
