Raising their voices in peace. Coming at a time of heightened turmoil in the world, the Kol Truah Jewish Choir is seeking to encourage peace through music with its new series, “Shir LaShalom,” or “Song for Peace.” In performances around the Bay Area, the East Bay choir will perform folk songs and Jewish liturgical compositions, including an Israeli peace anthem and the West Coast premiere of a piece by composer Rich Campbell.
