Purim was this week, and there were spiels, cake walks and costume contests all around the Bay Area. “Purim ETZtravaganza” at Congregation Etz Chayim in Palo Alto helped get the ball rolling, and other creatively titled events followed, such as “Shtar Wars: The Whole Intergalactic Megillah” at Or Shalom Jewish Community in San Francisco.
