Making it count. Participants in San Francisco’s Omer Project are gathering on numbered street corners for the counting of the Omer again this year. This 49-day period leading up to the giving of the Torah on Shavuot is an opportunity to reflect on and improve aspects of one’s character. The spiritual exercise continues through May 21.
