Meeting of the minds. Ben Rosenau, 92, is being interviewed by a high school student about his service in World War II — but how can an old man at a Jewish retirement home find common ground with a teen from the social-media generation? A new production based on a short story by playwright Charlie Varon, “Second Time Around” is a “duet for cello and storyteller” presented with an original score by cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, formerly of the Kronos Quartet. Play runs through April 17.
