High schools students can obtain contest information from their language arts or social studies teachers, by visiting the contest Web site at www.hklaw.com/community/holocaust/ or by calling the Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation at (888) 688-8500 toll-free. Interested teachers can also call that number to receive information and a free teacher’s resource guide. The guide contains lesson plans, including background material, sets of supplementary readings, questions for students, lists of relevant books and films, and ideas for motivating students.
