Tehiyah Day School will be hopping — and jumping, and swinging — this month as the school goes all out for its fifth annual Jump Rope for Heart event Friday, Feb. 16.

Nearly 300 Tehiyah students will participate in the event, which will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. around Tehiyah’s El Cerrito campus.

Stations will be set up around the school for students to try different activities, including double dutch, Chinese jump rope and an obstacle course.

Jump Rope for Heart, which raises funds for heart disease and stroke research, is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
