Tom Segev, author of a new biography of Simon Wiesenthal, will speak about the famed Nazi hunter in a lecture 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto.
A contributing journalist with the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, Segev unveils many controversial aspects of Wiesenthal’s life, including his marginal role in the capture of Adolph Eichmann and his techniques used in pursuing Nazi war criminals in the postwar years.
